We have our own holiday dreams and we got them all in our trip to the Western Australia last December.
Touched and stroked kangaroos, koalas, quokkas?
We meet them not only in the Caversham Wildlife Park but to our surprise, kangaroos were jumping around in front of our Accor apartment. Wow, we see them every morning. Our visit to Rottness Island is unforgettable a place where you can find one of Australias’ native animals, the Quokkas.
Got free chocolate, free cheese and wine tasting?
On the way to our apartment in Swan Valley, we saw vineyards with dangling grapes and chocolate factories. The shops offer black, white and milk chocolate chips for free. Who can say No for free chocolate, not me! Near by, we stop at Lancaster vineyard for some wine tasting and enjoyed a variety of cheeses. Chili cheese is our best choice and olive cheese is our second best.
Visit Fremantle and Kings Garden, Perth?
Fremantle is only 30 minutes from Perth. We love its well preserved heritage architecture. Going around the city is not difficult. You may catch CAT buses for free to enjoy this amazing and cozy city. In Perth, it is a must to visit the Kings Garden. With a very knowledgeable tour guide, we learn the types of dessert plants which only live in Australia. It uses under ground irrigation techniques to keep garden forever green. If you are one of Jamie Olivers fans, visit his restaurant in downtown Perth. Book early, don’t be late and enjoy the food there.
Eat at the apartment balcony with golf view?
The Sebel Swan Valley The Vines apartment provides everything we need for feeling at home. Breakfast on balcony gives new excitement. Our daughters are in charge of the food, while my husband and I help them to set the table. At night, after dinner and bathing, we usually play a word guessing game, charades. They were really amusing and memorable nights.
In short, our holiday was fun?
We are happy and really cant expect more?
