Geger Beach

With calm turquoise-blue water and white-golden sand, Geger Beach has become one of Bali’s top beach destinations in recent years. It’s peaceful with a few seaweed farmers and no noisy vendors. One or two kiosks rent surfboards and swimming and sunbathing are the main activities plus there are a few small eateries that also rent sun loungers. Geger Beach ends at the cliff where Pura Geger is nestled at the top, but you can get to a solitary beach behind the cliff during low ebbs. You can also get there via the tiny dirt footpath somewhat hidden by tall plants, near Pura Geger; but still, it’s not possible to stay on that beach at high tide.

Besakih Temple

Besakih Temple has been known as Bali’s ‘Mother Temple’ for over 1,000 years and is perched 1,000 metres high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. Besakih is an artistic and unique complex that consists of at least 86 temples which include the main Pura Penataran Agung (the Great Temple of State), as well as 18 others.
Besakih is the biggest and holiest amongst the temples on the island and is surrounded by breathtaking and scenic rice paddies, hills, mountains, streams, and much more.Located 2 hours away from Bali's International Airport by car to the east part of Bali and right located in Besakih Village, Rendang – Karangasem Regency.

The cool central uplands of Bali can be enjoyed at the Bali Botanical Garden in Bedugul. The whole environs of Bedugul have actually become known as a favourite cool highland recreational destination among locals.
Besides enjoying a vast collection of tropical plants and wildlife in their natural habitat, The gardens cover some 160 hectares and any visitor with an interest in plants and trees could easily spend a whole day here.

The Ubud Monkey Forest

The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. It houses approximately 340 Crab-eating Macaque monkeys There are four groups of monkeys each occupying different territories in the park. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction in Ubud, and is often visited by over 10,000 tourists a month. The forest comprises approximately a tenth of a square kilometer and contains at least 115 different species of trees. The Monkey Forest contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple as well as a "Holy Spring" bathing temple and another temple used for cremation ceremonies. The Monkey Forest is owned by the village of Padangtegal and village members serve on the Monkey Forest's governing council.
